When we met with Emily & Angie a few months ago, it was like sitting across the table with old friends.

They told us how they met, first politely telling us they met at work. Of course, this is the true story. But there’s more behind it than that. They first met in a meeting at Baird, where Emily & Angie both work. Angie did some crushing, followed by maybe some light stalking. Things slowly progressed from there 😉  When Emily went to Seattle for a work trip and invited Angie with “as friends” in September 2016. In the city of Seattle, a Massachusettsan and a Wisconsinite united. For Angie & Emily, Seattle was a little oasis and sparks officially flew. They both realized there, someday they’d be married. As they told us their story, you could literally see how much these two love each other. Together, Emily & Angie have the energy to bring a room to life.

It didn’t take long after Seattle, that proposed to each other at the Vernon Marsh then in Wauwatosa at Emily’s apartment — both over wine. Among their closest friends and family, they’ll celebrate their marriage this coming July at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.

For their engagement photos, we met Emily & Angie at the beautiful Vemutería 600 in Hotel Madrid. After a few cocktails & glasses of wine, we ventured Milwaukee together. Walker’s Point has some super dynamic and beautiful street art and the lakefront is always the most perfect backdrop. So very looking forward to capturing these two again next year!
