After friends tried setting Nicky and Mike up, they started by exchanging Facebook messages. After a while, they decided to grab drinks together at Argus in Madison on July 9, 2016. Little did they know, this blind date would lead us here. When you know, you just know. Ten days after their first date, Nicky and Mike knew they were meant to be. And about five months later, Mike proposed to Nicky while they were on a hike at Devil’s Lake. Of course, she said yes.
If you know Nicky and Mike, there’s no need to explain just how great they are together. If you don’t, let us try. They are both kind, gentle hearted people. They care about others in their lives as much as they love each other. The spent the wedding day side-by-side, excited, so happy. They make each other laugh… a lot. Anyone can see, Nicky and Mike are made for each other. They agreed that their biggest surprise on the wedding day was how emotional they both got. They said, “It’s overwhelming to know how loved you are.”
Their advice for future brides and grooms is unique and we totally love it. “Make sure to spend time together dating and having fun without talking about the wedding. There’s no avoiding the last minute stress so procrastinate and have fun together”.
Nicky & Mike, Congratulations!
