Our very good friend, Nick, introduced us to Rebecca and Ross. From the moment we met them, they’ve treated us like we’ve known each other for years. After their engagement session, they took us out for breakfast. We celebrated New Years Eve together and on their wedding day, they shared sandwiches and made us feel so welcome.
Granted, I know we can’t hang out on New Years Eve with all of our brides and grooms. But, something tells me, even if we hadn’t bonded over my grandmas fantastic spaghetti, they wouldn’t have changed their attitudes toward us on their wedding day. Rebecca and Ross are two genuinely kind and welcoming people. They are exactly the kind of people we gravitate toward in life and photography. We’re so thankful Nick told them about what we do.
The morning Rebecca and Ross got married, the forecast wasn’t looking so promising. We all came prepared with umbrellas but thankfully, we didn’t need them too much. A little drizzle didn’t stop these two from seeing each other for the first time on Rebeccas favorite running trail in Delafield. Just as Rebecca walked down the aisle, the musician sang “Here Comes the Sun”. I’m still not sure if that was planned or a spur of the moment decision because, really, the sun came out and stayed with us for the remainder of the day. Following their ceremony at Lapham Peak, their celebration continued at the Oconomowoc Lake Club. The day was full of personal touches and couldn’t have been more “Rebecca and Ross”.
Here’s how we saw their beautiful wedding day…

Rebecca and Ross’ advice for future couples:
“Every bride is different, but our advice is likely to be the same. You know yourself best, so always just do whatever you think is right for you! With that, it’s the truth- enjoy every moment. It goes entirely too fast.”
