One thing we like to talk about during our initial consultation, even before couples hire us, is the important of actually getting to know each other.  Not surprisingly, the best way to get a true documentary and natural pictures is when all parties are comfortable.  When your wedding photographer walks into the room the day of your wedding, you shouldn’t get nervous.  It’s why we stress engagement sessions so much.

This past summer, we got a great opportunity to hang out with Erin and Phil in a somewhat unconventional way.  Shannon is a big fan of Zac Brown Band (TJ is not) so she purchased two tickets with our friend Michelle, to his Summerfest show.  As extreme luck would have it, out of the 20,000 people at the concert, Erin and Phil were seated right next to her!  Let’s just say, everyone had a great time…
