A few years ago, we were in Eagle River photographing Beth & Joel’s awesome northwoods wedding. If you look through that post, you’ll find a little treat: Katie & Chris. At the time of Beth & Joel’s wedding, they had been dating for a few month.  Obviously happy as ever. Since then, we’ve crossed paths with Katie & Chris a few times without really knowing.  Weddings, friends, friends-of-friends.  The world gets smaller and smaller.

It wasn’t until just recently that we’re learning more about Katie & Chris. We’ll be photographing their wedding in September of 2017 and we’re so excited! Being lovers of the outdoors, they’re having their wedding in Hubbard Park… a little Milwaukee Oasis. Last night, we meet at Roman Coin. The first place these two had a conversation.  Granted the conversation was at midnight and beers were involved.  But, a few days later, they went on their first date at Swig in the Third Ward.  So, from Roman Coin we walked to Brewer’s Hill and photographed these two along the way. Our favorite kinds of engagement sessions operate this way.
