Annamarie & Ross are married! They got married in their hometown near Madison, Wisconsin. The celebration continued at The Legend of Bergamont.
When we left Milwaukee on Annamarie & Ross’s wedding day, it was 60º and pouring. We packed our raincoats and, of course, Shannon packed a sweater. By the time we got to Middleton the sun came out and it hit over 90º! The air was humid and the sunny skies felt good on the skin. Needless to say, a sweater wasn’t needed (but maybe Shannon wore one anyway). As the day went on, a few clouds formed and we thought we wouldn’t be able to do sunset photographs. However, just as the sun set on the horizon, a pocked opened up. The day literally kept getting better and better.
Even though Annamarie & Ross had an early start to the day, they still decided to do a First Look. We will always, always recommend doing a First Look. We can give you advice on this from wedding professionals and as a married couple (who didn’t do a First Look and totally regret it). The First Look eased nerves and allowed for Annamarie & Ross to be together from the very early afternoon on! They ended up saying it was their absolute favorite part of the day. During the First Look, we ventured around Annamaries parents yard. You’ll see in the photographs it looks more like an arboretum…. Annamaries dad and neighbors have worked on it for years and years to perfect it. It was an absolutely beautiful setting!
So excited to share this wedding and our Bay View neighbors. Congratulations Annamarie & Ross!
