This crush goes a long way back. Like, middle school crush! Peter and Laura met when they were in middle school. They went to different schools but Peter played sports with several boys from Laura’s school. Laura developed a crush early on and it lasted through high school. Laura said, “One time in high school Peter came over to my parents house to watch a movie and we had our first kiss! Does that count as our first date?”
She’s been crushing ever since. She even recently found old notes tucked away claiming her love for young Peter! Hearing Laura tell this cute tale much more justice. Peter and Laura remained friends after high school but parted ways. When Laura moved back to Milwaukee from Chicago in 2014, everything sparked. They ran into each other and have been side-by-side since.
This middle school love story is a success! Peter proposed while they were vacationing in Vail in October, 2016. They will officially seal-the-deal in May of 2018!
