A few weeks back we met Kristin and John for their engagement session at the beautiful new hotel Kimpton Journeyman.  It was a very busy time for these two as John was just beginning his new teaching gig and Kristin is starting her next semester at Marquette.  It seemed that starting on the rooftop for a Happy Hour was a welcoming break!

We first met these two back in February after they recently got engaged at Splash Paint Studio.  John knew this was the perfect place to ask Kristin because of the multiple times they frequented the place.  If you’re not familiar how it works, it’s a studio in which people are guided into creating masterpiece paintings while being served beverages.  This time around, John was especially nervous because his masterpiece included a message asking for Kristin’s hand in marriage.  Of course she said yes and here we are today!

They will be tying the knot next July at The Grain Exchange and we couldn’t be more excited!
