Kelly & Paul | Madison Wedding Photography

I’m not sure where to begin with Kelly and Paul’s wedding.  In short, it was awesome.  Really awesome.  It didn’t look good as I made the drive from Milwaukee to Madison that morning.  The temperature gauge read a cool 38 degrees and the rain did not look like it was going to end any time soon.  When we got to the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) they were all ready to go for the first look.  We couldn’t have had a better backdrop than the museum’s lobby.  Combined with their look and scenery, the whole event had a very classic feel to it.

I’ve been to quite a few weddings but never have I seen a group ready to celebrate more than this one.  Don’t be confused, I don’t mean party.  There is a big difference.  They were there to celebrate Kelly and Paul.  Since Paul is from South Brunswick, New Jersey, there was a large contingent of family and friends from the East Coast.  Before dinner, the hor dourves table was cleared from the dance floor and the dancing was started way ahead of schedule.  Austin, the DJ from JUKE BOX BANDSTAND, said he had never seen anything like it before.  All the guests looked like they were having a great time.

I get asked a lot about the crazy things I see at weddings.  The truth is, all the couples I photograph put on really great parties.  However, Kelly and Paul’s definitely crept into one of my all time favorites.  Take a look and see why.
