Katherine & Alex are engaged!
A few years ago, Katherine & Alex met on match.com. It’s a success story we’ve been hearing more and more lately and we absolutely love it. Meeting someone you click with is hard! Actually, meeting someone after you click is hard too! After two whole weeks of exchanging emails and text messages, Katherine & Alex’s first date was the Kansas City Zoo. At the time Katherine lived in Kansas City and Alex was stationed in Fort Riley. Every week, Alex traveled to Katherine. The two-hour trip was well worth it.
When it came time to apply for jobs, they applied in several different state together. Wisconsin being one, as Alex grew up here. They agreed, they’d move wherever they were both offered a job. Milwaukee is happy to have them 🙂 Over this past December, after dinner and a concert, Alex proposed in their apartment. As Katherine turned on the Christmas lights on the tree, Alex was knelt down behind her. He asked “Will you marry me?” and her response was “Heck ya!”
They are getting married next summer at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center and we’re so honored to be there with Blue Fancy Events!
