When we told people we were taking a family vacation during peak autumn season, we got some “looks”.  You know what we mean.  Regardless of looks, our italian vacation with the Uttke family was absolutely perfect.  Since we missed so much of our beautiful autumn weather, we thought we’d try something new upon our return: Holiday Family mini sessions.  For years, we’ve wanted to do something fun with fake snow and a totally winter scene without having to endure our frigid Wisconsin winter.  This year, everything seemed to fit just perfectly.

Though the weather was a bit colder than we anticipated, the scene was everything we hoped for.  Eight beautiful families signed up to be a part of our very first Mini Session series.  They came from Madison, Waunakee, Grafton, Germantown… what an honor!  “Winter-in-Fall” went off without a hitch and we’re already thinking of ideas for next year.  These might be hard to top though…
