Kathryn & Ari | Classic Milwaukee Wedding

Kathryn & Ari are married! Their classic Milwaukee wedding was held at the Historical Society.

In the week leading up to Kathryn & Ari’s wedding day, the days were cool and rainy. We know we’re not the only ones to monitor the weather reports leading up to Saturdays. Kathryn admitted to scanning the radar two weeks in advance only for Ari to tell her that two weeks is not an accurate reading. Their big day on Memorial Day weekend finally came. It was sunny, warm and absolutely perfect. We met Kathryn & Ari at the Intercontinental where they got ready with their respective wedding parties. To maximize their day together, they did a First Look. Just like their love it was super sweet and tear filled. They both agreed this was their favorite part of the wedding.

During Ari’s thank you speech, we learned how these two met. During our initial meeting, they told us it was simply “between friends at law school”. But how it really went down is the fun story. Kathryn and Ari’s first time meeting was during a contest amongst friends to see who can name more vice presidents. When it came down to just the two of them still going, Ari said to himself “this is someone I should have in my life.” (these were not his exact words. His speech was much, much sweeter than my narrative). They quickly became friends and quickly after that, their forevers. Anyone in their vicinity can see how much these two love each other. They are constantly smiling at each other, finishing each other’s sentences and always, always making each other laugh.

Their advice to future brides & grooms, “Also, take the parents of your flower girl and ring bearer into account, they can make the day much easier or harder. ”
